My name is Steve Basin. This is my twenty-first year here at Antelope Hills Elementary. This will be my thirty-eighth year teaching. Prior to this, I taught at both Tovashal and Avaxat Elementary schools here in Murrieta. For my first ten years of teaching, I had the opportunity to teach in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I have taught in grades 3, 4, and 5, along with five years of combination classes. I have a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s degree in education, and my GATE certificate as well. In my downtime, I enjoy spending time with my wife, riding both bicycles and dirt bikes, camping and working on house projects. Our daughter is currently going to college in beautiful San Francisco.
